Create & Send Beautiful Emails
Step 1 - Defining the Campaign and Sender
On the first screen you are asked to enter a name for your campaign, the subject line, a 'From' name and address and a
'Reply To' address.
You also have the option to personalize your subject line with data fields from your subscriber list.
Step 2 - Defining the Content
On the next screen you must choose how you are going to define your content. You can select an existing template (providing at
least one has been setup for you), import the HTML and add a plain text version or just provide a plain text version only.
Please note you cannot add any formatting or style to your email with the 'Plain text only' option and only basic reporting will
be available.
If you chose to select an existing template, then you will be taken to our WYSIWYG editor page where you can add and modify the
content of your email.
Clicking on the edit (pencil) icon located in various parts of your email template will display an editor where you can modify
the associated item's content. Clicking on the 'ADD NEW ITEM' button will also display the editor where you can enter
additional content.
Where you have more than one editable item stacked, a new icon will appear which will allow you to drag and drop the associated
item above or below other items in the stack.
If instead you chose to import your own HTML and add plain text, then you will have the option to either import from a web
location by specifying a URL or upload the HTML email from your computer or network.
With either choice you will be given the option to automatically move a copy of your CSS to be inline within the HTML. This
gives the best results in popular email clients like Outlook 2007, Gmail and Lotus Notes.
All 3 methods for defining content include a page where you can add plain text content. There is a margin in the editor which
marks the recommended width for best results with all email clients.
If you selected an existing HTML template, then initially your plain text version will automatically have been created based on
your HTML content.
Step 3 - Defining the Recipients
After you have defined your email's content, it's time to choose the recipients of your email.
On this screen you can choose to either send to one or more existing subscriber lists by simply ticking the checkboxs next to
them, or you can choose to type them in yourself.
Step 4 - Testing and Sending
Before you send your email campaign to all the recipients you specified earlier, it is a good idea to see what it's going to
look like in your email client.
On this page you can send a test campaign email to up to 5 email addresses at once, free of charge.

Alternatively, if you click on the "Complete design and spam test" tab, you will be given the option to let us do your
testing for you. Testing your design in all the different email clients is the most frustrating part of sending email
campaigns. Our design and spam testing tool changes all that by doing the hard work for you.

Even when you're sending an email campaign to subscribers who opted-in, your email can still be flagged as spam by overzealous
spam filters which seem to be getting more and more aggressive with their spam flagging analyses. Instead of just scanning
your content for "spammy words", we'll pass your email through real spam filters and tell you exactly why it failed

In the final stage of creating a campaign, you must decide if you would like the campaign to be sent immediately, or have it
scheduled for a specific time in the future.
No matter where in the world your recipients are located, you can easily schedule the delivery of your campaigns in their time
zones. Scheduled deliveries can be targeted down to 5 minute intervals, ensuring your campaign is sent at the optimal time.
Once your campaign is delivered, we will send you a confirmation email.
